On 5 September 2026, the vibrant streets of Vienna’s historic city center will once again come alive with the colors, rhythms, and traditions of the Philippines as PAMANA V – Philippine Festivals Parade & Cultural Extravaganza returns for its fifth edition. More than just a cultural showcase, this year’s event carries profound significance as it commemorates the 80th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations between the Philippines and Austria, celebrating eight decades of friendship, cooperation, and shared aspirations.
Carrying the inspiring theme, “One Heritage. One People. One Future.”, PAMANA V is expected to bring together Filipinos from across Austria, as well as Austrian friends, tourists, and members of the international community, in one of the country’s largest celebrations of Filipino culture.
A Journey Through the Philippines—Without Leaving Vienna
The festivities begin at 9:00 a.m. at Stephansplatz, where participants will perform the energetic Unity Dance Flashmob before the colorful parade officially sets off.
The parade will weave through some of Vienna’s most iconic landmarks:
- Stephansplatz
- Graben
- Bognergasse
- Am Hof
- Heidenschuß
- Freyung
- Schottengasse
- Ring
- Sigmund-Freud-Park
As participants march through the historic streets dressed in elaborate festival costumes, Vienna will transform into a living canvas of Philippine culture. Spectators can expect dazzling representations of the country’s most celebrated festivals, showcasing the Philippines’ rich regional traditions, indigenous artistry, and deep-rooted spirituality.
The parade route itself symbolizes a cultural bridge—bringing the warmth and vibrancy of the Philippines into the heart of Austria’s capital.

The celebration continues until 5:00 p.m. at Sigmund-Freud-Park, where visitors can immerse themselves in a full-day cultural extravaganza.
